Call for papers: Brill Volume on Death and Remembrance in Late Medieval and Early Modern Europe

We are seeking contributors for several essays for a Brill Handbook of the Christian Tradition on Death and Remembrance in Europe 1300-1700. The essays will be 8,000-10,000 words. In particular we are looking for contributors on:
- Funerary traditions in late medieval Christianity
- Dying and death in the Catholic Reformation
- Remembrance and memorials in Counter-Reformation Europe
- The archaeology of late medieval and early modern cemeteries
- Funeral sermons over time
- Mourning and grief
- The music of death and remembrance
