Revd Dr Robert Evans
Robert Evans is Chaplain and Director of Studies in theology at
Christ’s College Cambridge. He read history at Peterhouse, Cambridge and
trained for ministry at Ridley Hall, before doing a doctorate under the
supervision of Rosamond McKitterick. This focused the relationship
between theology and the writing of history in the Carolingian Empire,
with a particular interest on God’s agency in history, and which he is
currently revising for publication. He is also an ordained priest in the
Church of England and served his curacy at Christ Church in north
Cambridge.
